Attention : demanding mountain course with aerial passages, steep climbs and significant semi-autonomy.

Start Thursday at 9 am from Piau Engaly with a tour of Piau resort and downhill section to the Chapelle des templiers. Long ascent from there for the first pass at Port Vieux and reaching Pic des Aiguillettes. Steep descent to join the aid station at Tunnel de Bielsa.

Steep climb to Port de Bielsa to enter España with the circo de Pinarra in front. Descent to join the camino de Puerto viejo. Strong climb from here to go back to Port vieux and reach the highest point of the course : Pic de port vieux (2723 meters) in front of the Cirque de Barroude and over the lake. Passage along the lake and the majestic wall of Barroude, going up to join Hourquette de Charmentas. Descent to lac de Badet and final push to reach the finish line in Piau Engaly.

The bests could end in about 5 hours. Time barriers are calculated for a 12 hours finish.
