Please note: the route has many parts on mountain trails where it is not easy to run, especially in the Néouvielle area, around Col de Bastanet and Hourquette Nère.

Start from Piau Engaly Friday a las 7h00 with a lap on the ski slopes ovelooking the cirque de Barroude to spread the pack. The ascent to the port de Campbiel allows to see the Vignemale and join Gèdre. A gentle climb up to the plateau de Saugué with the cirque de Gavarnie in front. Descent to Gavarnie.

From the village going nealy at the end of the cirque near the big waterfall. After the chalet de Pailla, tough climb to Hourquette d’Alan to join the cirque d’Estaubé. We borders the dam des Gloriettes before rejoining Gèdre.

Alternating small ups and downs in the forest to the base camp of Luz saint sauveur. Long ascent to the cirque de la Glère and his hut joining Tounaboup. We pass the cabane d’Aygues cluses to go through the Houquette nère and the col de Portet.

Final descent to Vielle Aure.

The bests could finish under 17 hours. Time barriers are calculated for a 41 hours finish.

It is possible to have clothes and supplies sent to Pierrefitte and Luz-Saint-Sauveur. These bags must be handed over to the organization before 8 pm on Thursday. They will be returned upon arrival late Saturday afternoon.
