The Grand Raid des Pyrénées : An extraordinary race for an unforgettable experience.

Whatever race chosen, participants will be amazed by the magnificent panoramas and will live a true self-surpassing experience.
Runners will pass through iconic sites such as Néouvielle mountains, Aure and Gaves valleys and under the pic du Midi de Bigorre. The highest points of the ultra tour is the col de Bastanet (2509 meters) and the pic de Port Vieux (2723 meters) culminates the GRP 2025 on the Tour de la Géla race.
Many segments of the course are technical and demanding. The courses also include the Barroude Wall or the cirque de Gavarnie. Routes are both steep and difficult. The difficulty of the routes is largely offset by the beauty of the landscapes crossed.
Every moment is an opportunity to enjoy the views. However, it is important to prepare for intense efforts : the elevation are considerable ranging from 2400m D+ to 10000m D+. Rigorous and assiduous preparation is essential to succeed.
